*Saturday,
March 6th, 2010, 5:30pm until 8:30pm: "Goldrush
Chili Cookoff" at Unity by the Bay. "Cash in while
you chow down!" A representative from Smyth Jewelers
will be present to buy your unwanted gold and silver. Prizes
offered for the best chili. Chili dinner (includes cornbread,
fixin's, salad, drinks and desserts) and musical entertainment
$15.00. Western attire encouraged. Y'all come on out now,
ya hear! Sign up at church to register your chili for the
contest, or call the office at 410-544-7990. To benefit the
UBB building fund.
*Sunday,
March 14th: New Member Induction during the 10:30am
service. Please sign up at church, or call the office at 410-544-7990
to register or for more information. A class for new members
on Unity basics, (and for anyone who is interested in brushing
up on the basics) will be held after the service - Mahala
Connally, Spiritual Leader will facilitate the class.

Transpersonal Hypnotherapy sessions available at Unity by
the Bay. Hypnosis is a very effective treatment for
smoking cessation, over-eating, anxiety and panic, insomnia

Up-date
on 1 Poplar Point, Edgewater, MD- Our Future Church Home!
Our
membership is celebrating the amazing events that brought
us a beautiful house which will eventually become our new
church home. Beautifully poised at the corner of Route 2 and
Poplar Point Road in nearby Edgewater, this house was won
in a raffle by a woman from Utah and quickly became more of
a burden than a blessing to her. Her donation of a significant
portion of the home’s value to Unity by the Bay and
the prayers, gifts and successful fundraising efforts of our
congregation converged to manifest this miracle. During the
next several months we will be seeking the appropriate permits
and finalizing plans for modifying the interior and developing
the site. Our members are excited about the potential to expand
our Sunday school program and social space, and to serve a
broader community from our beautiful new church home. It is
our hope to relocate to Edgewater sometime in 2011. For photos
